OUR MONTHLY COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
At CocoTurf, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We’re pleased to share the latest update from our ongoing partnership with Tree-Nation, a global organisation dedicated to combating deforestation and supporting reforestation projects around the world. Together, we’re helping to restore natural ecosystems, offset carbon emissions, and make a positive environmental impact for future generations.
Here’s what we’ve achieved this month:
Number of Trees Planted: 151
Location of Planting Projects: Plant to Stop Poverty, Tanzania
Environmental Impact: 15,150kg of CO₂ Captured
Tree Species: Artocarpus Heterophyllus
This month’s contribution brings our total to 2,044 trees planted, covering a remarkable 19,200 sqm. Collectively, these trees are expected to absorb around 144.14 tonnes of CO₂ throughout their lifetime—an impressive achievement that contributes directly to global carbon reduction.
Sustainability and innovation go hand in hand at CocoTurf. Our environmentally conscious artificial turf systems are designed to minimise environmental impact by reducing water usage, eliminating the need for harmful pesticides, and delivering long-lasting performance. While our products help create sustainable spaces for sport, play, and landscaping, our partnership with Tree-Nation allows us to extend that positive impact far beyond the surfaces we install.
Every tree planted contributes to the restoration of vital ecosystems, supports biodiversity, and helps strengthen local communities. These initiatives play an important role in addressing climate change while reflecting CocoTurf’s ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible solutions. Through our collaboration with Tree-Nation, we’re proud to support meaningful regeneration projects that create lasting benefits for both people and the planet.
We’re incredibly encouraged by the progress achieved so far, and this is only the beginning. As our partnership with Tree-Nation continues to grow, so too does The Forest of Notts Sport, helping us make an even greater contribution to a more sustainable future.
